This after school program space is a place where students from 8th to 10th grade. The space is designed for students to go through a sequence of activities that will generate integration, unity, and community within the space. The students will enter in a meditation room where they can relax. Following meditation, they will enter a private space where a small group of people would meet and share their emotions and possible conflicts. They will finally arrive at a more extensive space where they are free to spend time with other community members as they wish. This will be done by generating a sight with a gradual transition in the design elements, from a more private and quiet to a more public and expansive space. This is done by creating different tensions, sizes, and knotting techniques within the ropes and wood structure combinations throughout the space.
